Keep Packing List in Mind

Packing List Reminders
I don't know if I was alone, but I told everyone I met about our summer adventure during the holiday break. Envy danced across the faces of distant relatives as I told of our magnificant journey.
I thought I would post a blog reminding travelers of the packing list passed out at our earlier meeting. If you haven't looked at it in a while, take a few moments and refresh yourself. With only months to go before departure, taking stock of items and limitations for travel could be advantageous.
Thinking now about those 5-7 outfits that all work together could come in handy as spring approaches and sales present themselves. How about the proper travel footwear? Do you have a 25" piece of luggage that will meet all of your travel needs? Have you found an around the neck security wallet to carry all the necessary items that would have been in a purse of wallet? Remember that CHA will sending a travel backpack that will meet the requirements of your in-flight travel bag.

Got Passport?

By now, most of you have applied and/or received your United States passport. Be sure to bring a copy to Mr. Smith when you return from holiday break if you have not yet done so. If you have not yet applied, time is ticking! Passports take 6-8 weeks to process.
How are those "Emergency Portfolio" envelopes coming?
Remember: You must place the following objects in the envelope:
1. An Original - certified - Birth Certificate
2. Two (2) Official-sized passport photos
3. A photocopy of your health insurance card
4. Prescriptions for any prescription medication that you will need
5. Prescriptions for contacts or eye glasses

Way to Go!

The CHA-Tours Travel guides are proud to announce 100% of the travelers were present at Sunday's information meeting! This truly shows the group's dedication and committment to a fantastic trip next summer. In case you missed it, the big news is... because we as a group were on time with all of our first payments, CHA has negotiated with the airlines and we are now flying in and out of Wichita! No KC bus trip! In addition, 40-50 days out, CHA will be sending each traveler a backpack that can be used as the carry-on piece of luggage for the trip.
Many exciting details were covered at Sunday's info meeting. Please remember that each CHA and group rules addressed are for the group's and each individual's safety. Full compliance is expected from each traveler.
